Sun Way Street is an indie-folk/rock duo creating music that blends emotional honesty with sweeping, textured soundscapes. At the heart of the project are Steven Eli, a songwriter and vocalist from Ireland, and Leor Manelis, a multi-instrumentalist based in Colorado. Together, they craft songs that explore love, loss, memory, and the fragile beauty of human connection.

Their debut album, Planted Heart (2024), introduced listeners to a style that balances intimacy and expansiveness — drawing from folk traditions while pushing into cinematic rock territory. Recorded with an international ensemble of musicians, it captured the band’s ability to make deeply personal stories feel universal.

The upcoming album, Ghost Town (releasing September 26, 2025), carries that vision forward. It dives deeper into themes of longing, belonging, and the echoes left behind in relationships and places that shape us. With its layered arrangements and raw lyrical core, Ghost Town reflects a band stepping confidently into its identity.

Though Steven and Leor first began writing together remotely during the upheaval of 2020, their partnership has grown into something much larger — a true band with its own voice. Today, Sun Way Street feels less like a collaboration born of circumstance and more like a musical home they’ve built together, one song at a time.

Currently, Steven is performing across Europe, bringing Sun Way Street’s music to audiences in an intimate, direct way.
